Description
Use
The SAO-Wd2 acoustic-optical signalling device is intended for use to generate acoustic and optical signals in burglary alarm systems. SAO-Wd2 signalling device can also be used in technical systems. The signalling device is intended for use inside buildings.
Construction
The SAO-Wd2 acoustic-optical signalling device consists of two parts – the first is the actual signalling device in a plastic enclosure. It houses power supply connection terminals. A piezoceramic transducer is used as the source of sound. LED diodes are used as the source of light. The second part – socket is an element used for mounting the alarm to a wall or ceiling with two wall plugs.
Installation
For installation on the wall or machine/equipment housing. Only use the original holes in the enclosure for installation.
Opening
To open the alarm device you should: screw out the blocking screw, twist the shade to the left while holding the base, then move apart the shade and the base.
Closing
To close the alarm device adjust the markers, then assemble the device and twist it to the direction marked with an arrow (sequence shown in the drawing). After closing, screw in the blocking screw.

The SAO-Wd2 device enables the generation of an acoustic and optical alarm signal. The signal is generated by introducing power supply to the terminals on the device. Switching on power supply results in the generation of an acoustic signal with the intensity of >90 dB @ 1 m and orange optical signal with the frequency of approximately 1 Hz.
