Description
Use
General purpose signalling dvice for use in automatic control systems, burglary alarm systems, technical systems. Compact design enables application in limited space locations.
Construction
The SAO-Wd3 signalling device is placed inside a plastic enclosure. RGB power LED is used as the source of light. A piezoelectric transducer is used as the source of sound. The application of an optical system provides for uniform light intensity on the entire surface of the light bowl.
SAO-Wd3 is signalling device for use in general purpose industrial automatic control systems, in a sturdy white plastic enclosure. Adapted for direct power supply with the voltage from 10 to 30 V. The device is capable of generating optical signals in 3 different colours (RYG) and acoustic signals matching the colours. The optical signals can be generated in flashes with the frequency of 1 Hz or continuous light. Due to the application of an RGB power LED, the device is compact and has a wide range of possible applications. The loudness of the acoustic signal exceeds 80 dB. There is also a possibility of muting the signalling device.
Installation
The SAO-Wd3 signalling device can be installed on the wall or ceiling, it is recommended to use the original holes in the base of the device
Opening
To open the alarm device you should: screw out the blocking screw, twist the shade to the left while holding the base, then move apart the shade and the base.
Closing
To close the alarm device adjust the markers, then assemble the device and twist it to the direction marked with an arrow (sequence shown in the drawing). After closing, screw in the blocking screw.

Connecting power supply to appropriate terminals will trigger the acoustic and optical signals at the same time. Each light colour has a corresponding acoustic signal pattern. The optical signal can be generated in flashes with the frequency of 1 Hz or continuous light. Continuous light can be obtained by connecting the LC input to ground. Sound can be blocked by connecting the MT input to ground.
Terminals: GND, +R, +Y, +G, MT, LC
