Use

As in the case of the WS-Ad, KS-Ad and TS-Ad alarm towers, the product is intended for use by the industrial automatic control manufacturers – to signal machine operation statuses.
Similarly to the WS-Ad series towers, the WS-Ad 230V tower does not have an embedded control system. The signal tower is functionally identical to the WS-Ad, the difference is in the power supply and control voltages. WS-Ad towers are intended for use in systems supplied with 24 V DC power, and the WS-Ad 230V is designed for 230 V AC 50 Hz power supply.
Construction
The alarm device is supplied directly from the 230 V grid. The enclosure is made of sturdy plastic and the optical tower shades use light diffusion technology to provide high visibility of the optical signal. A built-in impulse power supply unit ensures high energy efficiency. The design of control inputs enables the use of different electric network phases (e.g. colour 1 from phase L1, colour 2 from L3). A separable multi-connector is used to connect the device with control circuits.
Installation
For installation on the wall or machine/equipment housing.
Only use the original holes in the enclosure for installation.

Control
The device can be operated in two modes: independent supply (useful for power supply from different phases) or supply from the colour input. The internal control system starts operation after the connection of a 230 V AC power supply with the frequency of 50 Hz. In order to trigger an optical signal, connect the control voltage (230 V AC) to the appropriate colour input. The optical and acoustic signal will be automatically triggered. In case the user wishes to block the acoustic signal, activate the input for blocking the sound, marked as “BLOCK”. Two-step sound intensity control is possible. The adjustment is made by controlling the VOL-10dB input.
Control is provided by connecting power supply to control inputs.
