Acoustic alarm device SA-A1

Use:

The SA-A1 acoustic alarm device enables generation of five acoustic signals. Releasing an acoustic signal is done through connecting the appropriate control input to GND. Additionally, the signalling device has got the input enabling operation in the lowered volume mode.

Construction:

The casing of the signalling device is made of plastic material. Elements are permanently joined. The sound source is a piezoceramic transducer. The signaling device has got a straight or angular fastening to the ground/wall.

Supply voltage 18-32 V DC
Current consumption at supply voltage 24 V DC full volume mode <110 mA
reduced volume mode <25 mA
Sound output at 1 m
(depending on the type of acoustic signal model)
operation in full volume mode
Min. >88 dB
Max. >99 dB
operation in the reduced volume mode
Min. >69 dB
Max. >82 dB
Weight <260 g
Range of working temperatures -10°C ÷ +55°C
Contamination degree 3
Protection degree provided by the casing IP54
Max. Conductor cross-section 2.5 mm2

Control:

The acoustic signal is released through connecting the appropriate control input to GND. The signal is generated as long as the signalling device input is connected to gnd. The electronic system of the signalling device has got the built-in priority mechanism, it means that in case of occurring two signals simultaneously, the system will start generating the signal of higher priority (the highest priority has got the input S1).

The signalling device SA-A1 can also operate in the lowered volume mode. In case when the input VOL will be connected to gnd, the electronic system built-in the signaling device will reduce the volume of emitted sound. This state will last as long as the input VOL of the signaling device will be connected to gnd.

Connection diagram:

Control input Acoustic signal
S1 (red colour) Increased frequency from 2400 Hz to 2850 Hz during 0.14 s
S2 (yellow colour) Frequency 2850 Hz: serially 60 ms of sound, 120 ms of silence
S3 (green colour) Continuous sound with fixed frequency (300 Hz)
S4 (blue colour) Serially sections of 0.5 s with the frequency of 800 Hz, 700 Hz
S5 (white colour) Frequency 3000 Hz, 3 bundles of pulses with the time duration of 32 ms each one (sound and silence of 16 ms) separated with the silence of 0.5 s, and then 1.5 s of silence
